Brazil Aid: Bolsonaro promises value of R$ 800 in 2023

A new electoral promise stirred voters on Thursday, 8. During the election time aired on TV, the current president and candidate for re-election Jair Bolsonaro promised that he will give Brazil Aid in the amount of R$ 800 in 2023.

However, the new amount will only be paid to those who receive the benefit, which is currently R$ 600, and who get a formal job. Thus, these R$ 200 more would be added to this group that manages to enter the job market.

It is worth remembering that the Union budget for 2023 foresees the value of Auxílio Brasil at R$ 400.

See the campaign published on September 8th:

Today, the payment benefits 20.2 million Brazilians who participate in the social program. However, behind the scenes there is information that another 800,000 families would be approved to receive Auxílio Brasil from September. The Ministry of Citizenship is expected to release this month's payment data for Auxílio Brasil next week.

September schedule can still be brought forward

The new September installment of R$ 600 is due to start on the 19th, but this could still change.

The Ministry of Citizenship decided to bring forward the August schedule. Therefore, beneficiaries with final NIS 1 who would only receive on August 18th were able to withdraw the amount of R$ 600 on August 9th.

There is an expectation that the September schedule will be brought forward, after the Minister of Citizenship has commented on the other deposits that will take place this year.

The payment of R$ 600 in September will be the last benefit deposit before the first round of the presidential elections. Therefore, there is a chance that the dates will be brought forward.

Auxílio Brasil September schedule

Auxílio Brasil payments in September must begin on the 19th and continue until the 30th, completing payment for all beneficiaries.
