It is still uncertain when beneficiaries will receive Auxílio Brasil in September. After the payment schedule was brought forward in August, families expect the deposit to be brought forward again this month.

However, the government has not yet confirmed the start date for payment of the next installment. For families to receive the advance amount, the Ministry of Citizenship must issue a decree changing the payment schedule.

In August, the government released the first installment of R$ 600 in the first half of August. The deposit, which was initially scheduled for August 18th, was brought forward for families, who received the installments between August 9th and 22nd.

The official September calendar starts on the 19th (Monday), for beneficiaries with NIS 1. Payment will continue until September 30th, releasing the amounts to beneficiaries each day.

However, commenting on the dynamics of payment of installments of R$ 600, the Minister of Citizenship, Ronaldo Vieira Bento, shared that the government is working to bring forward all calendars until the end of this year. This would also bring the September installment forward to the first half of this month.

“And this is our objective, that we continue this payment to the beneficiaries of Auxílio Brasil and Auxílio Gás in the first two weeks of the months following August“, assured the minister regarding the other payment plans for the installments of the benefit.

Although there is no official confirmation, the schedule for the second installment of R$ 600 follows that announced at the beginning of the year by the Ministry of Citizenship. Following the schedule, the first to receive are beneficiaries with final NIS 1, on September 19th.

Until the end of 2022, the value of Auxílio Brasil will be R$ 600 per month. From August to December, five installments will be paid with the new amount for 20.2 million families.

The Ministry of Citizenship and Dataprev are already making consultation available to those approved to receive Auxílio Brasil in September. To find out if the family can receive the benefit, simply access the program application.

According to information from the Folha de São Paulo newspaper, the government is still considering including around 800,000 families on the program's payroll in September. By the end of 2022, Auxílio Brasil could reach 21.6 million families.

In August this year, the Ministry of Citizenship cleared the benefit waiting list for the second time, admitting 2.2 million Brazilians. The first time this happened was in January 2022, when more than 3 million people were included in the social program.
