Auxílio Brasil payments in December will be anticipated for all beneficiaries. This way, it is possible to enjoy the Christmas and New Year festivities with a little money in your pocket.

Monthly, transfers made by Caixa Econômica take place in the last 10 working days of each, except when the Government made changes and brought forward payments, as happened in the month of August. In December, installments will be deposited in advance, and end earlier, on the 23rd.

With this, the Ministry of Citizenship guarantees that all 21.1 million beneficiaries who receive Auxílio Brasil will have the money before Christmas. Currently the amount paid to beneficiaries is R$ 600.

Furthermore, in December, some Auxílio Brasil beneficiaries will also receive the Gás Voucher, which is equivalent to 100% of the price of a 13kg cylinder, around R$ 110. Payments follow the same dates as Auxílio Brasil.

Beneficiaries receive installments of Auxílio Brasil, according to the final digit of the NIS (Social Identification Number), in the order of 1 to 0.

According to the program rules, families considered poor and extremely poor and with a monthly family income between R$ 105.01 and R$ 210.00 or income equal to or less than R$ 105.00 are entitled to the benefit.

Families interested in participating in the program must have an active registration in the Single Registry (CadÚnico), and be living in conditions of extreme poverty or poverty. CadÚnico must be carried out in person at city halls.

Currently, the elected government and Congress leaders are negotiating a Proposed Amendment to the Constitution (PEC) to increase public spending next year and thus guarantee the payment of R$ 600 to Auxílio Brasil beneficiaries. According to the current Annual Budget Law – LOA, which is being processed in Congress, the value would return to R$ 400.
