Last Wednesday (19), Caixa Econômica Federal announced the advance payment of the next installments of the Truck Driver Allowance and Taxi Driver Allowance. By order of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, the installments for November and December were brought forward by one week. See the new dates below:

5th installment – anticipated date to 19/11 – scheduled date was 26/11;
6th installment – anticipated date to 12/10 – scheduled date was 12/17.

In the month of October, payments were released last Tuesday (18), so the two benefits should only be paid until the end of this year, after having been introduced in July through the Proposed Amendment to the Constitution (PEC). of Kindness.

Thus, truck drivers and taxi drivers receive a total of six installments, each worth R$ 1,000.00, and in the month of August they received R$ 2,000.00, which correspond to the months of July and August, with Truck Driver Aid covering the professionals registered with the RNTRC (National Register of Road Cargo Transporters) by May 31, 2022 or who have self-declared the Registration Term.

Taxi Assistance is paid to taxi drivers registered with city halls until May 31, 2022 and who hold a concession, permission, license or authorization granted by the municipal or district public authorities.

According to Caixa Econômica Federal, at least 670 thousand professionals benefit from the program, which serves 377 thousand truck drivers and 295 thousand taxi drivers.

Finally, the benefits are passed on to a digital social savings account that is automatically opened by Caixa Econômica Federal in the name of the beneficiaries. With movement via the Caixa Tem App (available for Android and iOS). Therefore, there is no need to register or send account details for the deposit. However, if the beneficiary does not move the account within 90 days, the funds will return to the National Treasury.
