Launched in March, it was informed by the Ministry of Social Development that the New Bolsa Família will finish being implemented in the last week of May. It was informed by the body on the 19th, Friday, that Sibec (Citizen Benefits System) will be unavailable for structuring new Bolsa Família benefits that should be launched in June.
Therefore, Sibec will be unavailable from 6pm on May 19th until 7am on May 29th, Monday. The action does not affect beneficiaries, who can continue to consult information about May payments normally through the Bolsa Família app, Caixa Tem and Portal Cidadão.
Bolsa Família payments in May began on 18/05 and will continue until the 31st.
New Bolsa Família in June
According to the Ministry of Development, the complete package of benefits provided for in the Bolsa Família 2023 MP, nº 1,164, will be made available on the payroll for the month of June. Despite the minimum amount of R$ 600 and the additional installment of R$ 150, there are still other additional amounts that are not being paid.
As is the case with the Family Variable Benefit of R$ 50 for pregnant women and children and young people aged 7 to 18 years old. Starting in June, the Federal Government will release the per capita benefit of R$ 142 for each member of Bolsa Família.
The value calculated per person aims to correct distortions and make a fairer payment, as previously a family consisting of a single person (single person) and a family with 4 members received the same minimum installment of R$ 600.
According to the ministry, the unavailability of the Sibec system for a week will aim to avoid the following errors during the Bolsa Família implementation process:
- Difficulty in serving beneficiary families, due to slowness or the presentation of an error message in the system, considering that the benefits consultation uses the same technological structure where the new PBF benefits are being implemented;
- Faulty service, due to the provision of inconsistent information, as system processing is still being carried out; It is
- Delay in the generation and payment of the June payroll, with an increase in the estimated processing time for qualifying registration information and families' eligibility for the new Bolsa Família benefits.
