For self-employed cargo drivers who have not yet submitted a self-declaration to receive Truck Driver Assistance, the new deadline remains open until November 7th to guarantee the portion of the aid that will be transferred on November 19th. The last installments of aid were brought forward.

To clarify doubts and information about the payment of installments, the worker can call the Alô Trabalho Call Center on 158, or the Caixa ao Cidadão Service on 111.

The Truck Driver Assistance benefit is part of the package created through the so-called PEC 22/01 (PEC of Benefits) enacted by Congress on July 14th. The constitutional amendment also adhered to the increase in Auxílio Brasil, which received an additional R$ 200, going from R$ 400 to R$ 600, the increase in Vale-Gás, where the value of a half 13kg cylinder increased to a whole one, the creation of Taxi Assistance in the amount of R$ 1 thousand, among others. All of them will only be valid until December, when the state of emergency decreed by the Federal Government ends. The total cost of the package amounts to R$ 41.2 billion.

How to make the TAC-Truck Driver self-declaration?

The deadline to carry out the self-declaration of the TAC-Caminhoneiro (Autonomous Cargo Transporters) and receive the 5th installment of the benefit is November 7th.

The so-called BEm Caminhoneiro (Emergency Benefit for Autonomous Cargo Transporters) is paid to offset the impact of the increase in fuel prices. In total there are 6 installments of R$ 1 thousand until December.

Truck drivers active in the RNTR-C and who do not have records of operations this year must carry out self-declaration at the Emprega Brasil portal or in the Digital Work Card App, available for systems Android It is iOS, for the purpose of receiving the benefit, to ensure that they are able to carry out transport operations.

Who is entitled to Truck Driver Assistance?

To receive Truck Driver Assistance, the worker must:

  • Have an “Active” registration status in the National Road Cargo Transport Registry (RNTR-C);
  • Have a valid CPF and driver's license;
  • The monthly payment of R$ 1 thousand is made regardless of the number of vehicles they own;
  • It is not necessary to present proof of supply to receive the installments;
  • For those with a “Pending” or “Suspended” registration status, it is possible to regularize their registration with the National Land Transport Agency and qualify to receive assistance.

The benefit ends in December and pays R$ 6 thousand to those who have been receiving it since the 1st installment was paid. The government demanded an increase in the price of Diesel on the foreign market to help finance drivers' fuel without intervening in Petrobras' pricing policy.
