More than 1 million workers can withdraw up to R$ 1,212 from PIS/PASEP in 2022. Caixa Econômica Federal released last Monday, the 17th, a new supplementary batch of the benefit for 1.1 million Brazilians.

The benefit is available to employees who had their salary bonus revised, requested by court or who did not withdraw the amounts in previous calendars, between the period 2016 and 2020. The amount released by Caixa Econômica varies from R$ 101 to R$ 1,212.

Employees who have doubts about whether they have credit available for withdrawal can make a query via the App or telephone call.

To find out if you have any benefit amount to receive, simply access the services:

The Digital Work Card App offers consultation of the allowance available for withdrawal. To access, just fill in the Gov.br login (with CPF and password) and access the option “Benefits”, then in “Salary Allowance”.

In addition to the benefit paid in 2022, for those who worked with a formal contract in 2020, the CTPS Digital application offers consultation of the salary bonus paid in previous calendars, consultation of the TAC-Taxi Driver, Emergency Benefit and consultation of Unemployment Insurance.

Another quick way to check whether the PIS/PASEP allowance is available for withdrawal is by accessing the Caixa Tem App. In addition to paying social benefits, the application offers other services such as Auxílio Brasil and BPC payments, Saque-Aniversário loans and salary bonus consultation.

Just access the option “Salary Allowance” in the list of services offered by Caixa Tem and the application will display a conversation detailing the payment of the benefit, the amount and in which account the money was deposited.

The Caixa Trabalhador application collects important information about salary bonuses, unemployment insurance and INSS, such as benefit values and payment schedules.

To consult the PIS/PASEP allowance at Caixa Trabalhador, you must log in using your CPF and password and select the option “Salary Allowance” on the app's home screen. If there are amounts to be withdrawn, the app will inform the date on which the benefit was credited, the account for the deposit and the amount.

The Caixa Trabalhador app also informs the employee's Personal Identification Number (NIS), which can also be consulted on the Citizen Card and the Work Card.

Brazilians who have worked at least 30 days with a formal contract in the base year of the calendar are eligible for PIS/PASEP. Furthermore, to have access to the withdrawal, some requirements are necessary: 

The PIS/PASEP Salary Allowance is not paid to urban and rural workers affiliated with an individual employer, directors without an employment relationship, domestic employees and minor apprentices.

The value of the salary bonus is proportional to the number of months worked with a formal contract and never exceeds the maximum value of one minimum wage (R$ 1,212) per twelve months worked. See below the proportional amount paid in 2022:
