Currently being the most controversial artificial intelligence at the moment and causing a worldwide repercussion, ChatGPT has already arrived, worrying some professionals. Especially those who work in the Marketing area, as they feel threatened by the possibility of losing their jobs to technology.

There is no reason to worry!

After much research and practical tests carried out by various professionals in the internet field, it can be safely said that ChatGPT didn't come to take anyone out of their jobs, but to act as a great assistant for all professionals in the field, helping them in the processes of automating routine tasks.

I will briefly discuss below all the information based on this context and in general what ChatGPT is and how to use the tool correctly.

In summary, what is ChatGPT

Developed by OpenAI, ChatGPT is the artificial intelligence language model. It was exposed for use by internet users for the first time in November 2022.

The tool can generate responses to prompts based on texts in a very practical way, reflecting human interaction.

What is a GPT Chat prompt?

A prompt is any input that is based on text provided to the language ranging from questions, statements, sentences, etc.

As soon as it receives text input via prompt, it generates a response that must be coherent and relevant to the prompt.

Remembering that all responses will be generated in accordance with ChatGPT's response policy.

From the user's point of view, ChatGPT has an interface similar to a chat you would find on any social network and everything is very simple.

You enter your question and soon your dialogue with the artificial intelligence begins. Although the interaction is trivial, the mechanism behind the system is gigantic.

This new AI tool is completely multifunctional and can greatly contribute to the creation of diverse content, translations, coding, calculations and much more.

For SEO professionals, ChatGPT can be a great ally when optimizing their content.

Check out some basic tips for using the new language correctly.

Don't pay too much attention to the original ChatGPT prompt, it will always present some type of response. Give importance to the quality of this response.

Explore ChatGPT's features by following these tips to get the results you need.

Use clear and specific instructions as far as possible. Avoid vague and unclear terms. This may cause ChatGPT to generate inaccurate or irrelevant responses. Instead of asking “Write me something about X topic”, be clear! Ask like a Copywriter: “Write me a blog post about topic X”.

Make things simpler. Maintain a simple sentence structure and vocabulary, and avoid doing multiple actions at one prompt. This will make it easier for ChatGPT to understand you, providing a much more accurate answer.

Instead of asking “Give me a list of keywords on topic X and then write me a blog post on topic X using this list of keywords”, split your request into two separate prompts.

Contextualize your prompts. Context is key to getting accurate results with ChatGPT. The more context you provide to the prompt, the better ChatGPT will understand what you are asking by responding assertively.

Instead of asking “Are backlinks good for SEO?”, You can ask “What do SEO experts say about the value of backlinks for SEO?”

Avoid ambiguities. Avoid using language that can be interpreted in different ways, as this can lead to confusion and inappropriate responses. For an accurate answer, make sure your question is direct and free of confusing words.

Instead of asking “Which is better for SEO: backlinks or keywords”, it's better to ask “What should I focus on first when doing SEO: backlinks or keywords?”

Take your time when asking questions. ChatGPT takes time to process questions and generate responses. Don't rush your prompts or try to force ChatGPT to respond before it's ready. This way, you will get good results.

Ask ChatGPT to develop topics. If you are not satisfied with the initial response, do not hesitate to ask for more information. You can ask ChatGPT to elaborate on a topic and it will generate a more detailed response on the topic as many times as necessary.

Rewrite the answers. If you're looking for a specific tone or style in ChatGPT's response, ask them to rewrite it in an original way. For example, you can adjust ChatGPT to respond in a more formal or informal tone.

Review for accuracy. ChatGPT is a machine learning model and cannot always provide perfect answers. Always review any responses you receive from ChatGPT for accuracy and relevance.
