The universe of public tenders in Brazil is about to undergo a significant transformation with the launch of the Unified National Tender. 

Nicknamed the “Enem of competitions”, this innovative selection process is a response to a growing need for simplification and unification in public selections.

The Unified National Competition emerges as a pioneering initiative by the federal government to optimize and simplify access to the federal public service. 

Unlike traditional competitions, this new format aims to unify the selections from different bodies, providing a unique experience for candidates. 

With 6,640 vacancies distributed across 21 bodies, this “Enem of competitions” represents not only a job opportunity, but a reconstruction of the selection process in the Brazilian public sector.

The Minister of Management and Innovation in Public Services, Esther Dweck, highlights the importance of this unified approach, highlighting the need to reach regions that had not previously participated in federal public tenders. 

In an additional publication of the Official Gazette of the Union (DOU) dated January 10, 2024, the notice for the Unified National Competition was announced.

This official publication marks the beginning of the selection process and provides essential details, such as the number of vacancies, requirements, salaries, schedule and other information relevant to candidates interested in participating in the competition.

Thus reinforcing the commitment to transparency and standardization of the process.

The registration period for the Unified National Competition is scheduled to begin on January 19th, extending until February 9th. The registration process will be conducted through the Gov.br portal, offering candidates the convenience of carrying out the procedure online.

When registering, candidates will be able to choose from eight different thematic sets.

On May 5th, the evaluations of the Unified National Competition are scheduled, which will take place in 220 locations distributed throughout the national territory. Logistics foresees 5,141 test locations, allocating around 46 candidates per room.

This national event will provide participants with the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in pursuit of a career in the federal public service.
