Spotify should soon finally bring the possibility of listening to music in HiFi quality. Initially, the new feature was announced in 2021 by the company with the promise that it would arrive at the end of the year, which did not happen. Now there are mentions including screenshots of the app's subscription plan that shows this as one of the benefits.

This time, the feature appeared through a Reddit user who said he responded to a questionnaire on the subject. Likewise, more people seem to have participated in the research, which made it clear what it was about. According to leaks, the new plan will be called Spotify Platinum and comes months after an indefinite delay.

The plan appeared in the questionnaire and a screenshot showed the benefits of the streaming app's account level. In this sense, the plan promises HiFi audio and another highlight: Studio Sound. Apparently, it appears that the technology is proprietary to implement spatial sound.

Spotify Premium also promises several other benefits that come with improved usability of headphones, playlists, and libraries. Additionally, the new level promises a limited number of ads during podcast programs available within the app.

Audio quality details were not revealed in the previous description of the Platinum plan. However, the price appears to be US$ 19.99 (R$ 105 at the current rate). In this case, the price is much higher compared to what competitors Tidal and Amazon Music HD offer for the same benefits.
