The 13th salary of retirees, as the 13th salary of the INSS (National Social Security Institute) is also called, already has payment dates confirmed in 2023. With the new minimum wage adjustment, future INSS income could raise R$ 1,980.00 per month, in which the benefit is paid, as it is released with the monthly payment of old age, pension and others.
13th Salary will not be brought forward in 2023, but there will be an increase
The new INSS 13th salary payment schedule in 2023 confirms that this year the benefit will not be counted, as occurred in the last three. Anticipation was one of the strategies adopted during the pandemic to inject money into the economy to combat it.
But according to the promises of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, the new increase in the minimum wage for 2023 will affect the 13th salary of pensioners and retirees. This is because the new adjustment is scheduled for May, while the installments for the 13th are still scheduled for August, September, November and December.
