The INSS has already released the payment schedule for retirees and pensioners for February. In the month of January, more than 37 million beneficiaries had their salary adjustments paid, now with the new minimum value in force.

For those who receive a minimum wage in February, the funds will be paid between February 17th and March 7th. For those who receive more than the minimum wage, the amounts are only paid from March 1st.

Insured people who receive the national minimum wage had an adjustment of 8.91% on the value of the minimum wage defined at R$ 1,302 in January 2023. For those who receive above the national minimum, the adjustment was much smaller, 5.93% in 2023. So the ceiling is now R$ 7,507.49.

The change in the values of those who received above the minimum was in accordance with the variation in the National Consumer Price Index or INPC, which closed the year 2022 at 5.93%. IBGE (Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics) made the announcement on January 10th.

How to check INSS values?

To check the amounts and payment dates, you must access the website or the Meu INSS application, available free of charge for Android and iOS systems.

Another form of consultation can be made through the INSS Call Center, at number 135. Service is available from Monday to Saturday, from 7am to 10pm, Brasília time.

The INSS considers the penultimate benefit verification digit (Benefit Number). Payments begin on February 17th for those receiving up to the minimum wage, and continue until March 7th. For those who earn above the minimum wage, the calendar starts a little later, on March 1st, and continues until the 7th of the same month, ending the calendar.
