The Social Security portal, My INSS, returned to normal after being offline and harming retirees, pensioners and other people dependent on the services offered by the Institute.
Services down or unavailable
With the system failure, which also affected the INSS mobile application, consultation of the amounts for the 1st installment of the 13th salary (made available by the INSS last Friday) was also unavailable.
Other services, such as access to the income report to fill out the IR 2023 (Income Tax) declaration, were also inaccessible due to a failure in the portal.
Dataprev, the company responsible for the INSS IT service, announced that the cause of the problem was maintenance carried out at a data center in Rio de Janeiro.
The company reports that, during the process, an “unscheduled shutdown of some disks” occurred, which affected not only the Social Security systems, but also the Ministry of Labor and Employment systems.
