INSS: August payments start on Thursday (08/25); see the calendar

The National Social Security Institute (INSS) will pay retirees and pensioners the benefits for the month of August starting tomorrow (25), Thursday.

It should be noted that transfers begin with insured people who earn a minimum wage and, after five days, beneficiaries with higher monthly contributions are also included.

INSS payments

It is worth mentioning that the calendar follows the distribution after the last benefit, which has 10 digits and looks like this: 123.456.789-0. The penultimate digit is taken into account, in this case 9.

Payment schedule for beneficiaries receiving a salary of R$ 1,212:

  • Final benefit 1: Received on August 25th;
  • Final benefit 2: Received on August 26th;
  • Final benefit 3: Received on August 29th;
  • Final benefit 4: Received on August 30th;
  • Final benefit 5: Received on August 31st;
  • Final benefit 6: Received on September 1st;
  • Final benefit 7: Received on September 2nd;
  • Final benefit 8: Received on September 5th;
  • Final benefit 9: Received on September 6th;
  • Final benefit 0: Received on September 8th.

Payment schedule for beneficiaries who earn more than one salary:

  • Final benefit number 1 and 6: Payment on September 1st;
  • Final benefit number 2 and 7: Received on September 2nd;
  • Final benefit number 3 and 8: Received on September 5th;
  • Final benefit number 4 and 9: Received on September 6th;
  • Final benefit number 5 and 0: Received on September 8th.

Consultation of the INSS statement

The INSS payment statement can be consulted online, via the website or via the mobile application. Check out how to do it.

Inquiry via the website:

  • First access the Meu INSS website; 
  • Enter your CPF and password (if this is your first access, you must create a password); 
  • Click on the “Services” option; 
  • The option can be found in the top right menu – go to the Extracts/Certificates/Declarations option; 
  • In the next menu, click on “Benefit payment statement”; 
  • On the next screen, click on the calendar – select the period in which you want to withdraw your benefit statement; 
  • Finally, the list of payments received during this period is displayed and can be downloaded using the Download PDF option.

Consultation via the application:

  • Download the application on your cell phone Android or iOS
  • Enter your CPF and password (if this is your first access, you must create a password); 
  • Access the main menu, using the three dots or bars at the top of the screen; 
  • Also select “Benefit payment statement”; Tap the calendar and select the desired period; 
  • The screen will show the statement with payments received in the selected period; 
  • Finally, click on the Download PDF option to print or save the statement.

Policyholders who prefer telephone service must dial the number 135. The service is available from Monday to Saturday, from 7am to 10pm.
