Until April 5th, Dataprev estimates that up to 2.7 million workers can be included in the 2023 PIS/PASEP salary bonus payments. This is because the system will carry out a new processing of the salary bonus, enabling the identification of new citizens who are entitled to the benefit, but who have not been covered until now.
This year's PIS/PASEP payments are related to the 2021 base year calendar. This processing includes workers impacted by data divergences, such as duplication of PIS/Pasep registration, which is declared by their employers, or by divergences identified in the Federal Revenue Service.
The Ministry of Labor claims that these impediments occur when employment data is registered from different sources and with incorrect or divergent information. Thus, the system identifies errors in this data, indicating that an analysis must be carried out, as this directly impacts the recognition of the right or the value of the allowance.
Since 2022, in addition to data from Rais (Annual List of Social Information) provided by companies, eSocial declarations are also being used to grant salary bonuses, due to eSocial being mandatory for labor records.
After the change, there are important impacts on processing, such as the identification of discrepancies in the Federal Revenue, which will be investigated with the new processing, without the need to correct the data by the employer or workers, all automatically .
With this, the new processing stage has already begun and consultation for the new results will be available from April 5th. Payments to these workers will take place between the months of April and July. For citizens who received their salary bonuses in February or March and who were impacted by the reprocessing, the amounts will be available from April 17th.
Requests for resources can be made by the worker from April 5th through the service channels of the Ministry of Labor and Employment, at the units of the Regional Labor Superintendencies or by email:[email protected] (the acronym “UF” must be replaced by the acronym of your state of domicile).
Who can receive it?
According to the law that governs the allowance, those who:
- Have been registered with PIS/PASEP for at least 5 years, counting from the date of the first connection;
- Received from employers who contribute to the Social Integration Program (PIS) or to the Public Servant Asset Formation Program (PASEP), up to 2 average minimum wages of monthly remuneration during the period worked;
- Worked at least 30 days, consecutive or not, in the base year considered for calculation (2021);
- Have your data for the 2021 base year correctly informed by the employer in the Annual Social Information List (RAIS) or in eSocial.
PIS/PASEP allowance calendar for 2023
The PIS/PASEP payment calendar started on February 15th for those born in January and February. These have already had the money credited to Caixa and Banco do Brasil. Payments continue until July.
For those who receive PIS, the amounts will be paid by Caixa in 2023, considering the worker's month of birth:
- 02/15: born in January and February;
- 03/15: born in March and April;
- 04/17: born in May and June;
- 05/15: born in July and August;
- 06/15: born in September and October;
- 07/17: born in November and December.
Pasep is paid by Banco do Brasil considering the server's final registration number:
- 02/15: final 0;
- 03/15: final 1;
- 17/04: final 2 and 3;
- 15/05: final 4 and 5;
- 15/06: final 6 and 7;
- 1707: end 8 and 9.
All PIS/PASEP payments will be available for withdrawal until December 28th. There are 20.4 million workers entitled to PIS and 2.5 million entitled to Pasep, totaling 22.9 million professionals.
