Caixa Econômica Federal, like other financial institutions, allows its account holders to predict their 13th salary.

Workers with a signed employment contract are entitled to extra remuneration at the end of the year guaranteed by the federal constitution and the Consolidation of Labor Laws (CLT) regime.

In this case, the worker who receives his salary from Caixa may request an advance payment of his 13th salary. The requirement to obtain this right is to be employed for more than one year or to be retired or a permanent pensioner from the National Social Security Institute (INSS) and receive benefits in that institution's deposit account.

You can request an advance on your Christmas allowance in a very simple way. The amount will be credited to your account the next day. The amounts released can vary between R$ 500 and R$ 20 thousand. It will be calculated based on the net part 13. or according to the payment capacity defined by the customer. However, it should be noted that this application is a loan.

The maturity of the operation will, therefore, be limited to a period of 330 days from the date of credit of the 13th installment of the salary. The deposit is paid when the contract expires.

The request can be made directly at a Caixa Econômica Federal branch or via the bank's website.

The worker must return the money to the bank on the day the contract expires. As it is a loan, there will be adjustments. The Tax on Financial Operations (IOF) is charged at the time of signing the loan contract.

Caixa recommends that you find out about the issue of payment in installments with the company, municipality or entity where you work before requesting the advance.

The 13th salary, established in 1962, represents a relief in the domestic budget for Brazilian workers and, therefore, is the most expected salary. All employees with a formal contract, pensioners, pensioners and public servants are entitled to it.
