Samsung began making the Gaming Hub available on its 2022 Smart TVs, as well as the smart monitor series on June 30th. Devices that support the app can access a discovery page for gaming-related services, including game streaming.
Samsung names Xbox, Nvidia, Google and Amazon as key partners. This means that subscribers to services like Xbox Game Pass (XCloud), GeForce Now, Stadia and Luna can access their games directly on the line's Smart TVs and smart monitors through the cloud.
“Gaming Hub combines Samsung's expertise in streaming technology and the ability to design the industry's most advanced hardware, removing barriers to entry so people can just enjoy gaming.” – explained Won-Jin Lee, president and head of the company's services business team.
Samsung Gaming Hub Integrations
Gaming Hub also integrates other entertainment streaming services such as Twitch, YouTube, Spotify, making it easier for players to connect to other platforms with gaming content beyond the games themselves. According to the company, the Gaming Hub is compatible with all major console controllers.
