The Chamber of Deputies approved this Tuesday, the 12th in the first round, the increase in Auxílio Brasil, from R$400 to 600, a great achievement of President Jair Bolsonaro in gaining popularity months before the election, the PEC was approved quickly, thanks to Lira himself , the government's biggest ally in Congress.

According to the federal government's assessment, after behind-the-scenes information, it would certainly be possible to approve the new Brazil Aid of R$ 600 without major problems. In the Senate, the PEC was approved in the first round by senator José Serra (PSDB-SP) with 72 votes in favor and just 1 against. In the second vote there were 67 yes votes and 1 no vote.

  • 5th installment of Brazil Aid of R$600: December

Who can receive the new Brazil Aid worth R$600?

Auxílio Brasil is paid to families that meet the following requirements:

  • Be registered in the Single Registry of Social Programs of the Federal Government;
  • Be selected by the Ministry of Citizenship;
  • Being in a situation of poverty or extreme poverty. Furthermore, for families in situations of poverty, it is necessary that their composition includes pregnant women, nursing mothers (mothers who breastfeed), children, adolescents or young people between the ages of 0 and 21.

To ensure the continuity of the benefit, you must:

  • In the case of pregnant women, prenatal care;
  • National vaccination calendar up to date;
  • Monitoring nutritional status;
  • Minimum school attendance defined in regulation;
