The Ministry of Development and Social Assistance, Family and Fight Against Hunger recently announced a new measure. Now, as per ordinance no. 860, it will be possible to request the deletion of data from the Single Registry (CadÚnico).
Therefore, registrants who do not meet the income requirements may, through the Single Registry application or website, voluntarily request the removal of their data from the Dataprev system. This option is already available and operates on weekdays, from 7 am to 9 pm.
The measure was adopted by the Ministry together with the Tripartite Intermanagerial Commission of the Unified Social Assistance System and the National Social Assistance Council (CNAS). The agreement was also made with the DPU.
Voluntary withdrawal from the Single Registry
The new feature is intended to ensure that those who receive Bolsa Família unduly leave the registry voluntarily.
The removal of data is only valid for single-person registrations, that is, those people who stated to the Federal Government that they live alone, but who in fact live with their family, which is incorrect.
After exclusion, these people can go to the service locations in their city to register correctly and be included in their families. Single-person registrations for the BPC (Continuous Benefit Payment) and people who are homeless are not included in this modality.
“Cancel your Single Registration”
The “Cancel your registration” option is available in the Cadastro Único app or on the Cadastro Único website, and the person must provide their CPF and Gov.br password. It is important to remember that the app must have the most up-to-date version.
You can also contact the municipal management of CadÚnico in your city to perform the deletion.
However, in order not to overload the service locations, the MDS agreed with the municipalities and states on a calendar that will verify the individual registrations, which will be between March and December 2023. In this case, people will be notified via SMS or messages on the statement.
How do I unsubscribe?
See below how to carry out the process of unregistering from the Single Registry:
- Access the application to request deletion from the Single Registry and click on “Complete consultation”;
- Then, log in with your CPF and password, and then click on “Continue”;
- Click the back arrow in the top left corner of the screen;
- Then, click on the red button “Cancel your registration”;
- Then click on the blue button “Cancel your registration”;
- Then, confirm your decision by clicking “Continue”;
- Done! Now your data and information will be deleted from the Single Registry and you will not be punished for amounts received unduly.
