The National Social Security Institute (INSS) has already processed payments for retirees and pensioners in March. As the agency always closes the payroll by the 20th of the current month, the amount to be paid to policyholders from March 27th, Monday, is now available for consultation on the Meu INSS app.

INSS payments in March began on the 27th, Monday, for retirees and pensioners with the final benefit number being 1. Insured people who have benefits worth one minimum wage receive advance payments, as in the case of BPC or Benefício of Continuous Payment.

For those who receive benefits above the minimum wage, which this year has a ceiling of R$ 7,507.49, March deposits begin to fall from April 3rd. In 2023, INSS benefits above the national minimum were readjusted by 5.93%.

The INSS has just over 36 million insured people who will receive payments according to the new dates. The payment order remains the same as in previous years, observing the final digit of the benefit card number. The calendar is the same for the Continuous Payment Benefit (BPC) and for people with disabilities.

The new INSS schedule for 2023 brings the deposit calendar between the months of January and December for more than 36 million beneficiaries. It is also possible to check the payment dates for retirees' 13th salary for 2023, however, the Government has not yet released information about an advance.

INSS calendar for the month of March

To find out on which date you receive the INSS benefit, you need to look at the card number on which you receive the retirement, pension or aid. The final number on the card, disregarding the check digit (number that comes after the dash), is the number that indicates the date on which you will receive the benefit. Example: A benefit card with the number 123.456.789-0 indicates the final number 9.

Consult the benefit amount in March

The 36 million INSS policyholders can check the amount to be deposited on their payroll even before the date for withdrawing the benefit arrives. The consultation is available on the Meu INSS website and App, a platform that brings together various services related to Social Security.

Through the application, the retiree or pensioner can consult the benefit payment statement for the month in question and deposits in previous months, consult information about contribution time, retirement simulation and also schedule or reschedule medical examinations.
